Let me start off by saying WOW, OMG and an ABSOLUTELY A-MAZ-ING book, wish I could give it more than 5 stars. I truly loved Seducing Cinderella and was so looking forward to this book and the wait seemed like it was taking forever, but after reading an ARC of this book, the wait was so worth it every painful second.

How do you put into words truly how great this book is, there are no words that can truly do it full justice. From the moment I started reading, this book caught me, I loved Vanessa, she strong and sassy, but of course she is, she's a read head, which I loved, so tired of the blondes and brunettes always appearing as the female lead character. And then there's Jax, a man you instantly make your new BBF, he smexy and a bit cocky but he is also such a softy and a romantic, definitely a swoon worthy guy. As soon as these two meet, there is instant chemistry but there are also fireworks, and I don't mean loving kind. I love the whole story line that has brought them together and how they slowly come together, the passionate SMEXY scenes are absolutely amazing, and the BS Body shots game that they play, has to be one of the best and hottest scenes that I have read in a while, OMG, I don't drink but right now I so have a desire to shoot tequila just thinking about it.

I loved how we got to see Reid and Lucie's HEA but I loved that the story focused completely on Jax and V. And this book gave back story so if you didn't read SC, you can still read this one, but I seriously recommend reading SC as it's another amazing story you will love. I also love how the author told us the back story, I didn't feel at anytime like "I already know this, get on with it please". I really loved Reid in SC but OMG Jax is so much more amazing, he is truly now in my top 5 BBF's I loved Vanessa's seven rules and loved how Jax broke every one of them and in the end, turned them around on her, man that was super sexy but super swoon worthy!

Gina L. Maxwell, you have truly outdone yourself with this book, if I could give you more than 5 stars I would. My head is still filled with Jax and V just 2 days later after reading it for the first time and can not get them out of my head. For the past two days I have tried to read another book and just can't get into any that I have tried reading, they just aren't j & V, a true sign for me of an amazing book. So now that I have my purchased copy on my kindle, I am off to read them again and probably again and again, this time I am going to be highlighting all the best parts, I don't think there will be much white on the pages of BS Bodyshots and many other parts too.

TO anyone reading this review, this is a book that you seriously HAVE to One click, there are not many books that I want to go back and re-read immediately and will want to read numerous times, this is one of those books!

Review Can I give this more than 5 stars? Because I need to. This is a 10 star book.

Jackson "Jax" Maris. Yum. Dark and Delicious.

He's introduced to us in Seducing Cinderella as the protective older brother of Lucie Miller. From the moment I heard that phone call between brother and sister, I wanted to know more about Jax.

When we meet Jax and Vanessa, they don't get off to the greatest start. As a matter of fact, they seem to be complete opposites. But the spark is there from that first moment. And boy does it fuel a fire. I looked up the definition of spark. Here's what I found

The spark - it started a fire.

A fire of passion.

A fire of desire.

A fire of lust.

Truth be told a full blown blaze. And I felt the heat. Phew... is it hot in here right now? Thinking back to all of the love scenes. WOW! I truly felt like I was right there in every scene. Lurking. Watching. Wanting. Waiting. Feeling - oh how I felt this book.

I laughed with Vanessa at moments of humor and I cried with her too when there were moments of sadness. Vanessa is just as amazing as Jax. She holds her own. She's strong, beautiful and independent but you can totally get that she does want someone to take care of her and treat her as she deserves to be treated. Special. And yeesh does Jackson treat her just as she deserves.

This book delivers everything I want in a great read. There's funny banter, rough and tumble angst, a little bit of MMA action, some great spots all over the island and love scenes that knocked my socks off and then put them back on just to have them knocked off again.

Jackson "Jax" Maris has indeed stepped up to being my #1 book boyfriend. I'm confident he will top your list as well.

I was gifted the book in exchange for an honest review - but I've also purchased this beautiful book because I had to own it.
I don't know how I'm going to leave a review. All I can say right now is WOW! Rules of Entanglement is the much anticipated second release of Gina L. Maxwell's Fighting for Love Series following Seducing Cinderella. RoE could be read as a stand alone, but why the heck you wouldn't want to read Seducing Cinderella is beyond me. Maxwell has done it again, she may have even outdone herself this go round. I love her writing style, her wit, her humor, and she really knows how to write steamy scenes too. I could read her books over and over and over (actually I have).

Jax and Vanessa are A-MAZING! In keeping with the Fighting for Love theme, Jax is a MMA fighter, brother of Lucie (from SC) and best friend of Reid (from SC) that's about where the comparison of these 2 male leads end. Jax is just RAWR, I have no words! He's laid back, sexy, sweet, dominating (but not overly so), and funny. He lives in Hawaii and meets Vanessa when she travels to the island to help Lucie, her best friend / his sister, with her wedding plans. Vanessa, what can I say, I love Vanessa. She is intelligent, strong willed, a little high strung and lives her life by a very strict set of Rules (7 to be exact). She has a great sense of humor, I think I highlighted as many quotes from her as I did any other part of this book. She is the perfect yin to his yang or vice versa. Jax and Vanessa start off on the wrong foot, but soon find themselves entangled in one of the HOTTEST, STEAMIEST story lines I've read! The story flows so well it dips and peaks and NEVER disappoints (EVER)! There's one scene (30+ pages) of a game they play, Bulls*** Body Shots, WOW just WOW. You may think that sounds like a lot, but TRUST me you'll be begging for more.

This is, in my opinion, a MUST READ! Buy it, you will LOVE it.
