This is actually a very detailed book. I was just expecting a few sketches and maybe a paragraph. Like the description states, you need to read Love Like Ours to understand this book because it's mostly sketches of events that happened in the book, as well as a few events that happened after the book. If you enjoyed Love Like Ours, I highly recommend getting this. It's a great complement to the book.

I was so looking forward to this book! I am totally speechless! It was amazing! Every girl needs a Derek!
I pictured the drawings in my head when I read Love Like Ours but this is sooo much better. The drawings are Amazing!
Loved this book the drawings bring the story of Talia & Derek to vivid images. The inclusion of Jonah's drawings just made it even better.
This graphic novella is a delicious treat to the novel

I really enjoyed this companion booklet to Love Like Ours. The journal entries and the illustrations definitely brought the book to life for me. The illustrations by Oliver Harbour were beautifully done and I teared up looking at a few of them. A great companion piece to add to my Melissa Foster e-book collection.
After reading Love Like Ours, I had certain images in my head that Dereck might have drawn in his journal. I wasn't disappointed. They were a bit more detailed to be honest with a little note of what he was thinking when he drew
each of these pictures. It is not a full length book. Just as Melissa stated, it is a companion. She gave a detailed explanation as to what this book was about and what to look for. I for one was not disappointed. I enjoyed these drawings. The explanations along with each picture will have you swooning and wanting a Derreck Grant in your lfe!!!
